Your Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in working with hydraulic systems and industrial equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and machinery, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic components effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems and components.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and inspect hydraulic equipment to ensure optimal performance on Heavy Trucks
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components such as truck mounted pumps, coolers, hoses, control valves, PTO’s, etc
  • Install Truck mounted PTO’s
  • Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs
  • Observe and test operation of pumping equipment to diagnose leaks, malfunctions and examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
  • Reassemble equipment after competition of inspections, testing or repairs
  • Clean, lubricate or adjust parts, equipment and valving
  • Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify units are in good operation
  • Adjust pump and meter components to regulate speeds, pressures and temperatures as well as amounts and the flow of product
  • Top up hydraulic oils and transmission oils
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections of industrial equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
  • Assist in the operation of forklifts and cranes as needed for moving heavy parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks.
  • Basic electrical skills for troubleshooting electrical components related to hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds).
  • Experience operating forklifts and cranes safely in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
